Our Mission
TTPI’s mission statement underlies all of our treatment programs: “To provide effective, accessible, and responsive client-centered substance abuse treatment services, utilizing evidenced based, best practices”. Additionally, we believe that family involvement and successful community reengagement is crucial to long-term recovery.
The Turning Point has provided substance use disorder treatment services for over 30 years. Our treatment process includes a thorough, ongoing assessment; holistic treatment planning which recognizes that clients present with unique strengths, weaknesses, and needs; cognitive-behavioral treatment strategies, and targeted individualized interventions utilizing behavioral skills training.
Our commitment to the well-being of our clients, use of only proven research-based treatment modalities, and adherence to the highest ethical standards have made us a leader in the field. For years we have worked closely with various law enforcement agencies and the Texas Department of State Health Services to help individuals whose use of drugs, alcohol, and/or violence has negatively impacted their lives and the lives of their loved ones. We include the family in the treatment process and provide the client with new skills and tools for staying clean, sober, and on track for a productive and healthy life.
